| Bio: | This is an academic journal where I will be conducting a semester-long study of philosophy & film. Within this journal, I will tackle topics concerning high and low art, what separates them, what brings them together, and how they are interpreted. Incorporated within this study of what art is or what we think it is, I will be watching and studying certain films and connecting the analytical essays of Theodor Adorno in his book, Culture Industry and Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed to my observations of the films themselves. |
